2013 Sophie Kerr Prize

On May 3, 2013, I was announced as one of the finalists for the 2013 Sophie Kerr prize. The award, administered by Washington College, is the largest undergraduate literary prize in the country that recognizes the graduating senior with “the most ability and promise for future fulfillment in the field of literary endeavor.” My portfolio included samples of both long- and short-form journalism, blog posts, personal essays, and a short story.
